Know that I am daily praying for each one of you, well aware that the enemy would like nothing more than to keep us from going deeper with God through His Word; whether it be through distraction, discouragement or just plain weariness. I am walking this with you and know that we need to simply tell it all to God and ask for His refreshing and His sweet leading as we walk through this week TOGETHER.
In addition to your Workbook Homework discussion, your interactives for this week are:
1. Read through the Introduction to Week Four from your STC Workbook at the beginning of your time together, to refresh and review the thrust of this week's study.
2. Read aloud all four stanza's KAPH, AMEDH, MEM, NUN before beginning study discussion.
3. During your time together (or on your own) mark every reference and synonym to:
- the arrogant, the wicked (mark them the same)
- false, evil way (mark them the same)
- every time phrase reference
- terms of conclusion
ex: v. 100
v. 104
- faith (ful) (ness)
4. Continue marking every occurrence of 'affliction' and it's synonyms
5. Continue marking 'according to'

Hi everyone,
With all the encouragement we got from each other last week I am having a great week of learning! Things seem to be settling down now. I hope it is the same for all of you too.
Last week when a few of us were saying good bye in the parking lot we decided it would be really nice to have lunch together next week after our meeting. SO AN INVITATION TO JOIN US FOR LUNCH IS EXTENDED TO ANYONE WHO WHO WOULD LIKE TO COME. You can meet us at Maple Ridge Baptist church at noon and we will go from there. Edna is going to think of a place to go. It wont be a fancy place as the idea is more just to get together and enjoy each other's company. Hope to see you on Thursday.

Hi everyone,
A special thank you to Debbie for your telephone message about lunch. You were right; I usually don't check the computer until after our meeting on Thursday. Your consideration and kindness is so appreciated!!! I am still working deligently on lesson 4 but I also am finding that the studying is going better this week and I am even getting into the Digging Deeper sidebars. I have also been reading 1 Samuel and now am starting 2 Samuel. I have been in Genesis and Joshua and plan on reading Jeremiah 18 as well. I am finding that, for me, the Psalm is getting clearer and easier to understand. Vs. 96 was causing me a bit of difficulty understanding what the psalmter was trying to say but then reading all the translations of that verse clarified my thinking. I have really enjoyed this week.
Lunch sounds great to me as well.
I am so looking forward to seeing you on Thursday.
Jan... for heaven's sake, you are just taking hold of this week in study and running with it! I'm just shaking my head at the wonder of it all. I am praising God with you in all of this!

I have been enjoying the study this week, like you Jan I have been reading Samuel 1&2 the life of David and it has been so great to read it more or less all at once.See you all tomorrow.
what a delightful day it has been... spending it with my sisters in our bible study this morning and enjoying lunch afterward at the Frogstone Grill. Our study started out the same has it has for the last few weeks...THEN surprise.. Cathie appeared (I thought you were just meeting us for lunch)Cat joined us and it was like old times(except missing were Angie and Marnie, Joan too, was unable to join in). The time flew by as once again our study became just a bit clearer (at least for me the light bulb when on the couple of times)And we (I) left feeling much wiser than when I had arrived there this morning. The ""WORD"...JESUS, so obvious, it was like a key...click. So here I go, marking every WORD with Jesus in week 5.
